Project Coordinator of Cyprus
My name is Krisztina Kovács. I joined ETEN in June 2018 as a project coordinator for Cyprus.
I graduated in 2012 as a Hungarian language and literature teacher and also hold an MA in Applied linguistics and BA in International Relations.
During my university years I attended several youth exchanges and trainings in Youth in Action, later Erasmus+. I completed two semesters as an Erasmus student and intern in Istanbul, Turkey at Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) in 2011 and 2012. These experiences were life-changing for me as I could travel, learn languages and explore the world in a way I wouldn’t be able to provide myself otherwise. Thanks to this, I became more open-minded and independent. Coming from a small town in the Hungarian countryside, I am grateful to have such experiences.
After graduation I started to work in a multinational company, then quickly switched to international organizations. After spending a couple of years at different international organizations, I decided to turn to Erasmus+ projects again, now no longer as a participant, but as a project coordinator, so I can contribute to creating more opportunities for young people.
Currently I am a part-time student in Special Needs Education at Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty Of Special Needs Education.
