I’m Viktória Pató I’m responsible for Irish vocational schools at European Training and Education Network. I graduated in science of public administration (BSc) and international public administration (MSc), now I’m a PhD student in Hungary. I speak English and Italian. During my university studies I’ve embraced every opportunity given by the European Union to train, practice, and study abroad, because my vision is that we can discover who we are, when we get out of our comfort zone and experience the world gaining information, intuitions, relations, we never had before. The whole world is in front of us, having intercultural experience is not a financial or legal question anymore. I like the project-thinking attitude, I do my best in my job, since I believe that everybody deserves the special treatment. Those students who go abroad for an internship will gain a one-in-a-lifetime experience, even if they only realise it later. For me Erasmus gave a huge advantage, a vision, courage, optimism and friends.
I can summarise the way how I see the world in one sentence; don’t waste your time, “be the change you wish to see in the world” [Gandhi].
